Buying Guide

The kick point of a shaft refers to how the shafts overall flexibility is distributed over the length of the shaft. The kick point is the area of the shaft where it bends the greatest when the club is swung. The kick point of a shaft affects the trajectory and distance of your shots. A lower kick point will produce a higher ball flight and lesser distance, while a higher kick point will produce lower flight and more distance. The club with a lower kick point will make the club feel more "tip flexible" and may help you hit the ball a little higher. A higher kick point shaft will feel stiffer and might cause you to hit shots a little lower.
